Fusible Links

Fire Damper Springs or Constant Force Springs are used on both sides of a curtain fire damper helping to shut and open to stop smoke or fire in the ductwork.

These are sold in pairs (as we recommend that both are changed at the same time).

We offer a large range of replacement fusible links which can be used in different ways in dampers, doors and vents. All of the common fusible links are in stock and for sale on this page - please enquire for other types if you cannot find them on our website.

• Found in systems like fire doors, fire dampers, and sprinkler systems.

• It’s a metal link engineered to melt at a certain temperature (e.g., 165°F or 74°C), releasing a latch, closing a door, or activating a sprinkler.

Common fire damper makes these are used on are: BSB, HVC, NCA, Advanced Air & Action Air (Swegon) Chubb Fire, Flaktwoods, A1 Shutters, Lindab Fire Dampers, Wolseley UK, Ascot Doors, Kidde Thorne & Gilberts.

Replacement Action Air Fusible Link 72c

This link kit comes with a new bracket to connect to the old damper and a new linkage.

• The new Cassette is retrofittable to existing FireShield Dampers (by use of a simple optional adaption bracket. Part Number: CNNN01981)

The BSB FD-C 250 screw in fusible link 12.5mm diameter - 72 degrees C.

These links are compatible with all the FD-C Series single blade circular fire dampers.

Located on the outside of the fire damper next to the handle.

The flat bar gate link EML is used on the 0160 advanced air fire damper.

Easy maintinence link EML brass soldered for release at 72 deg c.
